PROFILE OF MUMUNI SULEMANA
Mr. Mumuni Sulemana (Senior) is a Youth Development Worker, Counselor, Teacher, Motivational Speaker, and OD Consultant who aspires to inspire others. He is a true son of the Upper West Region, precisely Wa.
He attended Wa Experimental Primary and Community Junior Secondary School. He progressed to Great Tamale Secondary School where he read General Science.
He holds a Diploma in Commonwealth Youth in Development Work at the University of Ghana, Legon, BSc. in Organizational Development (Human Resource Management Option) from the College for Community and Organizational Development/UDS-Tamale and MSc. in Organizational Development (OD) with an option in Appreciative Leadership from the College for Community and Organizational Development/UDS-Tamale
He also holds the following professional certificates; Organizational Development Certified Professional (ODCP), Professional Post-graduate Diploma in Organizational Development and Organizational Development Certified Consultant from the College of Community and Organizational Development (CCOD), Sunyani in affiliation with the Institute of Organizational Development (IOD), Florida, USA.
He also pursued Executive Mastering in Organizational Development and Appreciative Leadership (EMODAL) at the Institute of Organizational Development in the USA, in partnership with College of Community and Organizational Development (CCOD). He is currently a PhD candidate in Management at the Texila American University, USA.
He served as the Regional Director for the National Youth Authority, Upper West Region and also acted as Principal for the Youth Leadership and Skills Training Institute at Issa, Director of Programmes and Operations at the National Youth Authority Headquarters, Ghana and is currently the Regional Director of the National Youth Authority, Northern Region with oversight responsibility for North East and Savannah Regions.
He is also the CEO of Youth Placement and Employability Solution (Y-PES) Ghana, a local NGO based in the Upper West Region, “Senior” Youth & Organizational Development Consult and Sevico Multibusiness Centre.
He was an African Studies Lecturer at Wa Technical University and is currently a part-time Lecturer at the College of Community and Organizational Development (CCOD), Wa Center. He has won several National and Regional Awards. He believes that Determination Determines One’s Destiny.
